Former Pikeville Clinic Owner Heads to Trial in Federal Drug Case

One of the owners of a former Pikeville pain clinic facing federal drug charges appears to be taking her case to court and not making a plea deal like her former partner.

Brandy Meadows and Bryce May ran the Kentucky Mountain Health Clinic.

The US Attorney’s Office says they kept doling out prescriptions even after they no longer had a doctor there by using his personal information.

Earlier this month May pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances; he faces 20 years in prison.

Meadows faces that same charge plus aggravated identity theft with a trial set for June in London.
