A Floyd County man is behind bars after a traffic stop led officers to investigate him for alleged domestic violence.
Prestonsburg Police say around 3am an officer saw a car with only one headlight and a smashed windshield.
When they spoke to the driver they saw she had injuries and blood on her, and she alleged that her husband had hit her in their home.
Investigators went to the home where they allegedly found blood and other evidence.
They found Ruben Garcia later that day and charged him with assault.
