A Leslie County woman has been sentenced to more than 22 years in prison for the murder of another woman three years ago. WYMT reports Karianna Burton was sentenced Wednesday for the 2021 murder of Jacqueline Lingar. Burton pleaded guilty as a part of a plea deal and after being charged with one count of murder and six counts of wanton endangerment the judge agreed all those charges will run concurrently.
