Oneil Cruz hit a tie-breaking single in the bottom of the eighth inning and the Pittsburgh Pirates completed a 3 game weekend sweep of the Cincinnati Reds with a 1-0 win on Sunday in Pittsburgh.
The Reds lost to the Pirates 9-1 Friday and 17-7 on Saturday.
Cincinnati is 20-14 and tied with the Cardinals for 2nd place in the NL Central, game and a half behind the Chicago Cubs.
The Reds will continue the road trip tonight with a 4 game series against the Cubs in Chicago.
Game times will be tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:40pm and 2:20 Thursday afternoon.
