14th Region Baseball and Softball Tournament

The 14th Region baseball and softball tournament brackets are now set after the draws on Thursday.

There are concerns over rain causing possible schedule and/or location changes but this is how the games are scheduled for now.  

The girls softball tournament will be held at Breathitt County in Jackson and gets underway with the 4 opening round games being played on Saturday.

In game one at 11:00am, Estill County will face Hazard followed by Breathitt County taking on 53rd District runner up, the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers at 1:00pm.   Jenkins is making their first 14th Region tournament appearance since 2016.

At 3:00pm Perry Central will take on Powell County follow by the 53rd District champion and defending 14th Region champion, the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars as they face Wolfe County at 6:00pm.

The 14th Region boys baseball tournament is set to begin on Monday, Memorial Day, and will be played at Powell County in Stanton.

The 4 opening round games will be Wolfe County playing Perry County Central at 11:00am followed by Knott County Central taking on Powell County at 1:00pm.

The 53rd District runner up, Letcher County Central Cougars will face the Hazard Bulldogs at 3:00pm Monday followed by Estill County and Breathitt County at 6:00pm.
