UPike Professor Genesia Kilgore-Bowling has been appointed by Governor Andy Beshear to the Kentucky Board of Social Work.
With more than 20 years in the field, Kilgore-Bowling currently serves as the chair of the School of Social Work at UPike.
The Governor’s appointment means she will represent licensed clinical social workers on the
board.
She says she hopes her experiences as a leader, practitioner and social work educator help her to elevate the profession of social work in Kentucky.
