Two men have been arrested for violating an emergency order and curfew in Pike County that went into effect following the flood last weekend.
The Appalachian News Express reports Darrin J. Blankenship and Jason Deboard were each charged in separate incidents.
Blankenship is charged with obstructing governmental operations, and criminal mischief and Deboard with criminal trespassing and traffic violations for driving in a flooded area where he didn’t live.
Officials say part of the emergency order is to stop people from “flood sightseeing” which they say impedes recovery.
