Two local schools disrupted by the July 2022 flood have rebounded into high academic successes.
The Kentucky Department of Education released its annual report card Thursday and WYMT reports Buckhorn High School ranked the sixth highest-scoring high school in the state, and Robinson Elementary, grades six through eight, ranked the tenth-highest-scoring middle school in the state.
Both schools were so heavily damaged that students were moved into the old AB Combs Elementary for more than a year.
