A traffic stop for speeding has led to several drug charges for a Knott County man. After a KSP trooper stopped Marion Wade Martin of Hindman for allegedly speeding on U.S. 23 near Prestonsburg, a search of his car allegedly turned up meth, fentanyl and pills. Mountain Top News reports Martin was arrested for trafficking in meth and fentanyl, drug possession and taken to the jail. But before undergoing a body search, he allegedly produced a bag of heroin and tried to swallow it. Officials then added charges of heroin possession, promoting contraband and tampering with evidence.
