Three Men Face Drug Trafficking Charges After Pikeville Arrest

Three men are facing major drug charges after Pikeville Police and the U.S. Marshals Task Force served a fugitive warrant at a Hambley Boulevard apartment.

Officers say they went there April fourteenth to arrest 51‑year‑old Dennis Roy Washington of Columbus, Ohio, and saw a burned glass pipe after taking him into custody.

Police detained Washington, 58‑year‑old Daryl Adkins of Pikeville and 51‑year‑old Lashawn Walker of Columbus, then got a search warrant and say they found large bags of suspected meth, plus oxycodone, crack cocaine and fentanyl hidden in a washer and dryer.

All three were taken to the Pike County Detention Center on felony trafficking and possession charges, with Washington also charged as a fugitive and Adkins accused of bringing fentanyl into the jail.
