Shawn Hager has resigned as head football coach of the Floyd Central Jaquars.
Hager had been the only coach in school history, coming aboard the newly consolidated school in 2017.
His record was 27-58 over 8 years.
His team was winless this season at 0-11.
His two best seasons were an 8-4 campaign in the first year of 2017 and a 6-6 record last season.
Floyd Central’s season ended this year with a 48-16 loss to Shelby Valley in the first round of the Class 2A state playoffs last Friday.
The search for a new football head coach at Floyd Central is underway.
