Reds Fall to Phillies as Losing Stretch Continues

Bryson Stott hit a two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning and Jhoan Duran worked a 1-2-3 ninth as the Philadelphia Phillies extended their winning streak to five games with a 5-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night.

The Reds now have lost 5 of their last 7 games and are 24-2, 5 games back of the Cubs in the NL Central. 

The Reds will continue the 3 game series against the Phillies in Philadelphia with a 6:40pm game tonight and then wrap up the series and the 6 game road trip with a 1:05pm game on Wednesday afternoon.
