Letcher County now has a Primary Care Centers of Eastern Kentucky location. CEO Barry Martin tells WYMT they were seeing so many patients from Letcher County coming to Hazard they realized it would be more efficient to open a Letcher clinic, so they’ve established one near Pine Mountain Grill. He says for now it will just be basic health care but they plan to expand services. And you’ll likely see a familiar face in nurse practitioner Katherine Cornett who grew up in Letcher County.
