A Melvin man is reportedly facing DUI and other charges after allegedly leading police on a chase through Floyd County. The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy patrolling Tackett Hollow spotted a car moving erratically and when he tried to stop it the driver took offal ong Route 466 and Route 122 but got stuck trying to make a turn on Abner Mountain. Mountain Top News reports the driver Jeffery Hunter was taken into custody with police allegedly finding a syringe of meth in his pocket. They also say he had a passenger who was six months pregnant so his charges include wanton endangerment.
