A Letcher County man is facing a long list of charges including assaulting a police officer following an apparent chase on Friday.
The Sheriff’s Office has not yet released the name of the man arrested by a Letcher County deputy and two Whitesburg police officers but say he is charged with fleeing police in a car, reckless driving, wanton endangerment and assault on an officer using communicable bodily fluids.
He was also charged with meth possession.
A woman with him was also arrested for possession.
