A Pikeville man has reportedly been arrested on allegations of murdering his mother.
Kentucky State Police say on Monday they were called about a domestic disturbance at Old Wagner Station Road.
They say the arriving troopers and investigators were threatened by Alex Yuhas so the KSP Special Response Team was brought out.
Following several hours of negotiations, Yuhas was taken into custody.
Investigators allege Yuhas shot his 75-year-old mother, Paulette Mullins, following an argument.
Yuhas is charged with domestic violence murder, terroristic threatening and more.
