The Pike County School District has gotten a nearly $1 million grant from the USDA Rural Development Office to upgrade conferencing abilities to help staff and students. WYMT reports the grant will equip six hub sites and 14 end-user sites throughout the county with mobile teleconferencing so that mental health counseling and more can be delivered by instructors, counselors and administrators within the school district.
