An alleged serial copper thief has been arrested in Pike County. Kentucky State Police say Donald Messer Jr. was arrested for trespassing at the EMF Rebuild Shop at Sidney last Thursday.
KSP says Messer admitted taking copper there on several occasions, but usually just $10 or $15 worth at a time.
The business claims they’ve had $10,000 worth of copper stolen and damage done over the past few years.
