An environmental permit has been received for a new higher ground development in Perry County. The Skyview project will include more than 100 homes for survivors of the July 2022 flood. Governor Andy Beshear announced the permit Monday calling it a big step in the process toward getting federal funding up to possibly $300 million. The environmental permit looks for potential contaminants at the site that could endanger future residents.
