The Mountain Strong Softball Classic got underway last night at Letcher County Central.
One game was played and Belfry beat Harlan County 7-1.
There will be 2 more games tonight, Friday, with Shelby Valley playing Harlan County at 6:00pm followed at 8:00pm with Letcher County Central facing Harlan Independent.
There will be 5 games Saturday starting at 10am.
Clay County plays Shelby Valley at 10am
Belfry faces Harlan at 11:20am
Clay County plays Letcher County Central at 12:40pm
Belfry takes on Letcher County Central at 2:00pm
And Shelby Valley will face Harlan at 3:45pm.
We’ll bring you both LCC games Saturday in the Mountain Strong Tournament with Greg “Bull” Creech and Derek Barto.
We will broadcast the LCC-Clay County game at 12:45 Saturday followed by the LCC-Belfry game at 2:00pm.
Pregame will begin around 12:30pm on 103.9 The Bulldog.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball will next play Prestonsburg at home tomorrow, Friday, at 6:00pm.
