Details have been announced for participation in the Mountain Heritage Parade which is on Saturday September 28.
Organizers say they want as many floats as possible to fill the streets of Whitesburg and are calling on all local businesses, sports teams, organizations and churches to enter into the float competition with cash prizes available.
They have also announced the rules and details for those walking, performing and driving vehicles.
