A Pike County man is facing charges for allegedly stealing cars at the University of Pikeville. Johnny Slone was arrested this week following an investigation into the car thefts as well as car break-ins which happened over weekend and Monday at the Hambley Boulevard parking garage. Mountain Top News reports one victim got security photos of his car being taken and police were able to identify Slone. They say when they found him nearby he allegedly had a key fob from the car and two of the victim’s credit cards. He is so far charged with trespassing and auto theft.
