A Whitesburg man is facing charges after police claim he stashed a meth pipe among some children’s clothing inside a local store.
Staff at Walmart called Whitesburg Police after they spotted Dustyn Bowman who had reportedly been banned from the store following a shoplifting conviction two years ago.
Police allege when Bowman saw them in the store, he ran out the back but was found hiding in some bushes.
Mountain Top News reports police then took a look at the store security cams to see what Bowman did in the store and they claim they saw him put something into the pocket of a pair of children’s jeans.
A search of the jeans on the rack turned up an alleged meth pipe.
Bowman is reportedly charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree wanton endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
