If you know a young lady who will need a prom dress, Valley Veterinary Clinic in Pikeville is giving them away. Clinic owner Dr. Whitney Rauth tells WYMT they did this last year to help families that were affected by the 2022 flood, but there is still a need, so thanks to generous donations from the community and from the Elkhorn City Girl Scouts who had some left over from their recent dress giveaway, they have a couple hundred dresses from which to choose. Rauth says she plans to have all the dresses out Saturday from 1pm-4pm. They will also have shoes, jewelry, and men’s sport coats and dress jackets.
