She is survived by her husband: Ken Watts; 2 daughters: Jennifer Crouse and Kristen “Kit” Isaac; 5 brothers: Jeff Potter, Vernon Lee Potter, McKinley Potter, James Potter and Terry Potter; 3 sisters: Gina Wright, Wilma Epifano, and Minnie Ellison and 4 grandchildren:
Funeral services for Vickie Watts will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church with Bruce Gilley and Elwood Cornett officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00-10:00pm this evening, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with singing and prayer service at 7:00pm.
Visitation will also be from 11:00am-10:00pm Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Smith and Watts Cemetery at Blackey.

Don “George” Tolliver, age, 66 of Dry Fork, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at his residence.
He is survived by his father: Donald Tolliver of Dry Fork; his wife: Helen Scott Tolliver; 3 daughters: Shelia Frazier of Whitesburg, LeAnna Boggs of Whitesburg and Candy Cook of Richmond; 1 son: Thomas Tolliver of Whitesburg; 1 brother: Randy Tolliver of Whitesburg; 1 sister: Gabby Hutchinson of Louisa; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Wednesday and after 6:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for Don “George” Tolliver will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

James Sidney Owens, age 82, of Eolia, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda Carolyn Caudill Owens; 1 son: James Patrick Owens; 3 daughters: Leisa Horne, Bobby Padilla and Tracey Craft; 1 brother: Henry Earl Owens; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; special friends: Dale and Ruth Dickerson and Mary and Chelmer Craft.

Funeral services for James Sidney Owens will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Rockvine Church at Patridge with Jason Caudill officiating.

Funeral services for Rulah Adams will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Bill Jones officiating.

She is survived by her Husband: Jeffrey Reed Banks; 2 Step-Daughters: Amber Martin and Jessica Eldridge; 2 Sisters: Patricia Brewer and Lora Treadway; 1 Brother: Jody Stamper along with a host of Grandchildren.
Graveside services for Wanda Sue Banks will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Whitaker/Banks Cemetery in Premium with Hiram Johnson Jr. Officiating.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Avon Pratt of Viper and Jeffrey Wayne Pratt of Viper; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Avon Pratt will be held at 12:00 noon today, Wednesday January 3, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard with Danny Dixon, Scotty Halcomb, and Jim Fields officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Jeff.
Military Rites will be conducted by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.

Arthur Daniel “Danny” Miller, age 74, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his life partner: Gwen Bullock Blair of Cumberland; 3 sons: Jason Miller of Odessa, Florida, Arthur Daniel Miller, II of Murphy, North Carolina and Tyler Blair of Cumberland; 1 daughter: Kimberly Anderson of Powell, Tennessee; 2 brothers: Richard Miller of Orange Park, Florida and Everette Miller of Jacksonville, Florida; 3 sisters: Reaunette Huff of Karns, Tennessee, Mary Keck of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Debra Clark of Powell, Tennessee, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a lady he considered as a mother, Alberta Bullock.
Visitation will be held starting at 10:00am on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Central Baptist Church in Cumberland.
Funeral services for Arthur Daniel “Danny” Miller will follow at 1:00pm at the Central Baptist Church in Cumberland with Roger Colinger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Charlie Maggard Cemetery on US 119 at Blair, KY with Military Rites provided by the Honorable Harlan Honor Guard.

Leon Cress, age 68, of Gordon, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Whitesburg ARH.
He is survived by 2 sons: Leon M. Cress and Jessie D. Cress; 2 daughters: Amy Lou Cosby and Amanda Cress; siblings: Ruby Sparkman, Jewel Cornett, Von Lewis, Cleo Cress, Morgan Cress and Virgil Cress; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
There will be no public service at this time for Leon Cress.
A private burial will be held.
