Hester Blair Back, age 78 of Blackey, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
She is survived by her husband: Ronnie Back; 1 son: Byron Wakefield Back of Martinsville, Indiana; 2 brothers: Herman Blair and Comman Blair; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 11:00am this morning, Tuesday June 30, 2026 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church at Blackey.
Funeral services for Hester Blair Back will follow at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, at the Mount Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon and Jim Fields officiating.
A private burial will follow.

Mary Wright Kincer, age 92, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Whitesburg passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the Haven Hospice Center of Florida.
She is survived by Two Daughters: Margaret Ann Johnson Hill of Hillard, Florida and Samara R. Shafer of India Lantie, Florida; 2 sisters: Waughletia Little of Whitesburg and Diana’s Brown of Louisville; 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren and 4 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mary Wright Kincer will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church with Tony Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Grayson Michael Charles Turnmyre, infant son of Connor Turnmyre and Kaitlynn Tolson of Jenkins passed away Thursday June 25, 2026, at the Whitesburg ARH.

Tolson and Jeff Turnmyre, aunts and uncles;

Funeral services Grayson Michael Charles Turnmyre will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday June 30, 2026 at the New Freedom Worship Center with Danny Quillen officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap.
