Otis Tobias Slone

Otis Tobias Slone, age 6 months, of Neon, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Whitesburg ARH.

He is survived by his parents: Teddy Slone Jr. and Jasmine Yonts Slone of Deane; paternal grandfather: Teddy Slone Sr. of Jenkins; maternal grandparents: Andy and Delana Yonts of Deane: Two brothers: Dakota Austin Slone and Colson Grey Slone both  of Deane.

Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm, this evening, Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the New Freedom Worship Center at Dunham.

Funeral services for Otis Tobias Slone will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday July 3, 2024 at the New Freedom Worship Center at Dunham.

Burial will follow in the Yonts and Wright Cemetery at Goose Creek.

The Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Billy Hollon 

Billy Hollon, age 68, of Ermine, passed away on Saturday June 29, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Rachel Jenkins of Jenkins, Jessica Lee of Whitesburg and Becky Adams of Cowan; 1 son: Charles Hollon of Jenkins; 1 sister: Sherry Sturgill of Whitesburg; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday July 3, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesburg.

Frank Campbell

Frank Campbell, age 42, of Jenkins passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. 

He is survived by his mother: Connie Campbell of Jenkins; a special aunt: Linda Gail Yonts, several aunts and d along with two special friends: Paula Hodges and Starla Hampton.

Funeral services for Frank Campbell will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Gaddy Hall officiating. 

Burial will follow in the McRoberts Cemetery at McRoberts. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Funeral Home to help the family with the funeral expenses.

Jarett Drake “Skinny” Adkins, age 26, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Jenkins. 

He is survived by his parents: Samuel “Sambo” Adkins Il of Richmond and Heather D. Moore of Jenkins; his wife: MaKayla Hope Seals of McRoberts, maternal grandparents; David and Belinda Moore of Jenkins, paternal grandparents: Sammy and Lisa Adkins of Burdine and Sandy Maggard of Cleveland, TN, father and mother-in-law: Tim and Kim Seals of McRoberts, two brothers; Davin Adkins of Richmond and Malachi Adkins of Jenkins, two sisters; Leanne June Haynes of Leatherwood and Mallory Boggs of New Market, TN, brother-in-law; Tim Seals, several nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Jarett Drake “Skinny” Adkins will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Danny Quillen officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Wednesday at the Funeral Home until the time of service at 7:00pm.

Linda Ann Toler Dales, age 42, of Jenkins passed away June 15, 2024, at her residence in Harriman Tennessee. 

She is survived by her husband: Joshua Dales of Tennessee; one daughter: Joshalynn Dales of Tennessee; two biological daughters: Robbin and Angelica Carter of Virgina; one sister: Stephanie Carter; one nephew: Mackenzie Carter of Virginia, one great nephew and two great nieces.

Memorial services for Linda Toler Dales will be held at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home Jenkins Chapel, tomorrow, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Visitation will be at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home Jenkins Chapel after 5:00pm tomorrow, on Tuesday July 2, 2024.

Bishop Willie Lamb, age 100, of McRoberts, passed away in Akron, Ohio, on Saturday, June 22, 2024. 

Memorial services for Bishop Willie Lamb will begin at 12:00PM on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Church of God Militant Pillar and Ground of Truth in Akron, Ohio.

Visitation will begin on Saturday July 6 at 11:00am until the time of service at the Church. 

A local visitation for Bishop Willie Lamb will take place on Monday July 8 from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. 

Burial will follow in the Tom Biggs Cemetery at McRoberts.
