Anthony Wayne “Cat Man” Caudill

Anthony Wayne “Cat Man” Caudill, age 62, of Hallie, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Hallie.

He is survived by 1 son: Tyler Anthony Caudill of Leatherwood; 1 brother: Billy James Caudill of Brownsfork; 2 sisters: Betty Von Caudill and Karen Kay Caudill both of Hallie; 1 grandchild: Landon Caudill; niece: Alice Evelyn Caudill and a very special friend that was like a son: Josh Griffie.

Funeral Services for Anthony Wayne “Cat Man” Caudill will be held at 11:00 O’clock A.M. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Eldridge and others officiating.

Burial will follow in the Caudill Family Cemetery at Hallie.

Visitation will be after 6:00pm Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Ray Hatfield

Robert Ray Hatfield, age 33, of Cromona, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his residence.

He is survived by his parents: Bobby Ray Hatfield of Taylorsville, North Carolina and Natasha Colwell of Cromona and 1 brother: Austin Hatfield of Clintwood, VA.

Funeral services for Robert Ray Hatfield will be held at 11:00am this morning, Thursday, March 6, 2026 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Hall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Cromona.

The Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Willard Blair

Willard Blair, age 70, of Redfox, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Whitesburg ARH.

He is survived by his children: Erica Inez Blair and Morgan Dewayne Blair; one granddaughter – Jama Haleigh Cheyenne Blair; stepchildren: Angela Everage, Becky Carroll and Timothy Blair; Brothers and Sisters: Sylvania Whitaker, Billy Blair, Steven Blair, Mattie Adams, Florence Emmons and Mary Goff; Special Friends – Larry and Debra Hays and Morrell Combs.

Funeral services for Willard Blair will be held at 11:00am this morning, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Kingscreek Community Church with Jimmy Dotson and Allen Jent officiating.

Burial will follow at Day Family Cemetery at Kingscreek.

Fern Stallard

Fern Stallard, age 85, of Jenkins, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Whitesburg ARH.

She is survived by one brother, Estill Isaac of Lexington and three sisters, Emma Noble of Franklin, OH, Alberta Noble of Franklin, OH, and Rhobenia Hurst of Jenkins.

Funeral services for Fern Stallard will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, at the Hemphill Baptist Church with Tim Noble and Danny Hurst officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Green Acres Mausoleum at Ermine.

Visitation will begin after 4:00pm on Friday at the Hemphill Baptist Church.
