He is survived by 1 son: Mack of Alabama; 1 daughter: Lena of Alabama; 1 brother: James Slone of Blackey; 3 sisters: Mary Bolling of Cornettsville, Wanda Wilder of Blackey and Viola Fields of Roxana and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 2:00pm today, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Blackey Missonary Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Chester Allen Slone will follow at 2:00pm this afternoon, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Blackey Missonary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Bill Moore Branch Cemetery at Kona.

David Hendrix, age 64, of Cumberland passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Harlan ARH.
He is survived by his wife: Shelia Hendrix; 1 daughter: Susie Brock; 1 special grandson : Dustin Smith; one great grandson; One sister and brother-in-law: Patty and Mike Howard; two brothers: James Brock and Ronnie Brock along with a host of nieces and nephews plus very special friends: Rocky Lewis and Marie Elbert and Ronald and Susie North.
Funeral services for David Hendrix will be held at 12:00 Noon Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Howard officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Saturday, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband: Everett Cornett, of Cumberland; 1 daughter: Monica Perez of Harrodsburg, KY; 2 sons: Daniel Cornett of Cumberland and Justin Cornett of Middlesboro, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

She is survived by two sons: Wade Estep of Jenkins and Tommy Estep of Owl Branch; one daughter: Judy Adkins of Knoxville, TN; three sisters: Phyllis Greer of Rutledge, TN, Emma Akers of Rutledge, TN and Donia Justice of Bloomington, IN, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
