Jean Ann Bentley, age 76, of Payne Gap, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Charissa Amburgey of Isom, Melissa Cook of Thornton and Yvette Whitaker of Payne Gap; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services or Jean Ann Bentley will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Polly officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Burdine.

Hazel Ison, age 79, of Whitco, passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023 at her residence.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Tonda Adams of Whitco, Jennifer Absher of Whitco and Kelli Jo Ison of Louisville; 1 son: Michael Ison of Ermine; 2 brothers: David Thomas of Leslie County and Harold Thomas of Van; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesburg.
Funeral services for Hazel Ison will be held at 11:00am Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Lydia Back, age 95, of McRoberts passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Pikevile Medical Center.
She is survived by 3 sons; Jack Back of Summerville, SC, Tery Back of McRoberts and David Back of Stafford, VA,; 1 daughter; Lisa Pease of Jackson, NJ; 1 sister; Gladys Hubbard of Pound, VA, 10 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 noon today, Saturday December 30, 2023 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Funeral services for Lydia Back will follow at 2:00pm this afternoon, Saturday, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Burial will follow in the McRoberts Cemetery at McRoberts.

He is survived by 1 son: Billy Joe Boggs, Jr., of Cumberland; 1 daughter: Amy Boggs of Lynch, 2 brothers: Jeff Boggs of Lynch and Bobby Boggs of Alabama; 4 sisters: Elizabeth Cinnamon and Stella Vanover both from Maynardville, Tennessee, Wanda Sheback of Berea and Margie Jane McKnight of Cumberland.
