Dallas Glen Monroe, age 66, of Thornton, passed away Friday, August 16,2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He is survived by 3 sons: Travis Monroe of Lexington, Dallas Lee Monroe of Neon, and Bobby Monroe of Thornton; 3 brothers: Carlos Monroe of Iron Station, NC, Dwight Goins of Lucasville, OH, and Norman Monroe of Jenkins; 1 sister: Cheryl Monroe of Deane and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Dallas Glen Monroe will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm. Monday and Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Thornton.
The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathy Kiser, age 65, of Mayking passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Whitesburg ARH.
She is survived by 1 son: Tim Kiser of Jenkins; 1 daughter: Tonya Tiller of Clintwood, VA; 1 brother: Orville Moretz of Maying; 1 sister: Cheryl Ratliff of Millstone; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; long time companion: Billy Young along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel this evening, Saturday, August 17, 2024 starting at 6:00 P.M.
