Henrietta Absher, age 85, of Whitco, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at her residence.
She is survived by 7 children: Brenda Dale Banks of Richmond, Curtis Absher of Whitco, James Absher of Cowan, Timothy Absher of Whitesburg, Michael Absher of Whitco, Beverly Roark of Kingscreek and Brenda Absher of Whitco; 3 brothers: James Carfa Niece of Whitco, Chester Lee Niece of Whitesburg and Jimmy Darrell Niece of Eolia; 1 sister: Joyce Niece Standifer of Whitco along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Henrietta Absher will be held held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Conn, Rodney Allen and Jamie Niece officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Monday, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

He is survived by his parents: Frankie Gunter of Cave Run and Sheila Newsome Gunter of Virgie; his wife: Tonya Thacker Gunter, two sons; Chris Gunter of Virgie and Gage Phillips of Fleming Neon; two daughters: Denise Boyd of Dorton and Samantha Mitchell of Evansville, IN, five brothers; Josh Gunter of Virgie, Jason Gunter of Virgie, Jordan Gunter of Cave Run, Chaseton Gunter of Cave Run, Chiseton Gunter of Cave Run, three grandchildren and one on the way.
Funeral services for Jeremy Todd Gunter will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Greg White, Ryan Johnson and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Virgie.
Visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday after 6:00pm at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home with nightly services beginning at 7:00pm each evening.
