Florida Holcomb, age 98, of Hallie, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Hazard ARH.
She is survived by 3 sons: Doug Holcomb of Hallie, Wesley “Wes” Holcomb and Levi Lundy both of Maces Creek; 3 daughters: Lily Fay Coley of West Virginia, Wanda Bandell and Nancy Cornett both of Hallie along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm this evening, Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for Florida Holcomb will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Clyde Bentley and Wes Holcomb officiating and singing by Wendell Whitaker.
Burial will follow in the Clint Ison Cemetery at Hallie.

Anna Ruth Caudill, age 70, of Elk Creek, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center.
She is survived by her husband: Merle Caudill; 2 daughters: Katherine Riley Wingate of Richmond and Erin Elizabeth Pollard of Corbin; 4 brothers: George Charles Nichols of Jackson, Tennessee, William Thomas Nichols of Letcher, John Paul Nichols of Mayking and Keven Hayes Nichols of Blackey; 6 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby Caudill, Jerry Caudill, Billie Jo Caudill and Phyllis Adams.
Funeral services for Anna Ruth Caudill will be held at 11:00am this morning, Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Saving Grace Community Church at Blackey with Greg Pridemore and Cody Kiser officiating.
Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Blackey.

Doris Hope Shuffler, age 74, of Hallie passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024 at the Hazard ARH Advanced Care.
She is survived by her Husband: Tom Shuffler of Hallie; 1 Daughter: Mischelle Griffie of Cornettsville; 1 Son: Josh Shuffler of Hallie; 2 Granddaughters; 1 Great-Grandson; 1 Brother: Ronnie Huffman of Louisville; 3 Sisters: Betsey Jones of Mt. Washington, KY, Martha Longworth of Goshen, KY and Pam Nuzum of Waterloo, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm, this evening, Monday January 15, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard.
Funeral Services for Doris Hope Shuffler will be held at 12:00 noon tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Hazard.

Walter Rogers, age 91, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by 2 sons: Billy Rogers of Cumberland and Garvey David Rogers of Lynch; 1 daughter: Janice Smith of Morehead; 1 sister: Anna Vera Cope of Benham along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time for Walter Rogers.
