Renee Halcomb Smith, age 56, of Carcassonne, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband: Christopher Smith; 2 sons: Bart Smith and Chris Smith both of Carcassonne; 1 daughter: Rachel Lynn Smith of Carcassonne; 1 sister: Jamie Collier of Hallie and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Renee Halcomb Smith will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Little Bull Creek Church with Allen Fugate, Earl Combs, Rulah Whitaker, Wallace Bolling and David Jent officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Monday at the Little Bull Creek Church.
Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Carcassonne.

Larry Paul Hogg, age 74, of Kingscreek, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Nicole Leigh Hogg of Wise, Virginia and Courtnee Odessia Bond of Coeburn, Virginia; 1 brother: Don Hogg of Kingscreek; 2 sisters: Tirrella Bentley of Kingscreek and Margie Ihrig of Kingscreek; 3 grandchildren; 1 niece: Ashley Cook of Mayking, 2 great nieces and a great nephew.
Graveside Services for Larry Paul Hogg will be at 1:00pm this afternoon, Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Hogg Cemetery at Kingscreek with Larry Griffith officiating.

Nellie Slone, age 82, of Jeremiah, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Fayetta Keel of Millstone and Lora Quillen of Roxana; 1 son: Jason Slone of Jeremiah; 1 brother: Grant Eldridge of Jeremiah; 1 sister: Maxie Hampton of Blackey; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nellie Slone will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Blackey Pentecostal Church with Bruce Eldridge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Jeremiah.
