He is survived by his wife Rita Nickels Collins; 1 son: Mark Collins of Elkton, Kentucky; 1 daughter: Candace “Candee” Lewis of Partridge; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Windus Dean “Ram” Collins will be held at 3:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Cecil Howard officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

He is survived by his fiance’: Donna Newsome; one brother: Jerry Tackett of Georgia; one sister: Shaunna Tackett Beal of Idaho, along with a host of nieces, nephews.

Burial will follow in the Amil Little Memorial Cemetery at Long Fork.

Linda Newsome, age 72, of Jenkins passed away Monday September 2, 2024, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband: Denny Newsome; four sons: Devin Newsome of Jenkins, Denny Newsome of Virgie, Brad Newsome of Virgie and Jamie Newsome of Virgie; three brothers: Albert Johnson of Jenkins, Chase Johnson of Dalton, GA and Teddy Johnson of Jenkins; two sisters; Emma Lee Warren of VA and Elizabeth Gibson of Dalton, GA, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and close friend; Deranda Goodman Wyatt.
Funeral services for Linda Newsome will be held at 11:00am Sunday at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Bobby L. Fleming Officiating.
Burial will follow in the M & L Newsome Cemetery on Little Robinson Creek.
Visitation will begin after 6:00pm this evening, Friday and after 6:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, with services starting nightly at 7:00pm at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie.

Burial will follow in the Bartley Cemetery at Penny Bottom.
