Gerald Eugene “Trey” Yinger III, age 39, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, in Hayes Township, Michigan.

He is survived by his parents: Gerald Eugene Yinger II of Tell City, Indiana and Fronia Ann Wright of Thornton; 3 children: Mariah Hope Yinger, Charlotte Wren Yinger and Corbin Wade Yinger all of Richmond, KY; the mother of his children: Lindsay Yinger of Richmond; 1 brother: Jacob Yinger of Hazard; 2 sisters: Ashton Caudill of Jeremiah and Gracie Faith Yinger of Tell City, Indiana; and grandmother: Jeanette Wright of Thornton.

Funeral services for Gerald Eugene “Trey” Yinger III will be held at 2:00pm this afternoon, Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home.

Allene Faye Cornett

Allene Faye Cornett, age 60, of Blackey, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Hazard ARH.

She is survived by 1 son: Matthew Cornett; 2 brothers: Tilvis “Tilk” Smith and Allen Smith; 1 sister: Mildred Smith; 2 grandchildren: Zackary Cornett and Olivia Cornett.

Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm this evening, Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Allene Faye Cornett will be held at 11:00am tomorrow, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Robert Halcomb and others officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cornett and Tackett Cemetery at Roxana.

Truman Halcomb

Truman Halcomb, age 83, of Jeremiah, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

He is survived by his wife: Bobbie Sue Hylton Halcomb; 2 daughters: Patricia Karen Caudill of Jeremiah and Missy Cornett of Isom and 2 grandchildren: Dylan Caudill and Hayden Caudill.

Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services for Truman Halcomb will be held at 2:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Cedar Grove Church at Hallie with Danny Dixon and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Halcomb Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers due to excellent care that was provided to Truman, donations are suggested to the Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Renata Dawn McKinney Bailey, age 23, of Blackey, passed away at Mayking on Friday, November 1, 2024.

She is survived by her father: Riley Edward McKinney of Carrie and mother: Christie Eva Smith of Blackey; 1 sister: Tamara Danielle McKinney; 2 nephews: Hunter Smith and Dreyden Smith; 1 niece: Bristol Smith; a special family friend: Molly Jo Morrison and best friend: Ava Gray; grandfathers: Donald Ray Johnson of Mayking and James Colwell of Leslie County.

Funeral services for Renata Dawn McKinney Bailey will be held at 12:00 Noon today, Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with David Jent and Earl Combs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jent Mountain Cemetery at Carcassonne.

He is survived by his Wife: Patricia Adams; 2 Sons: Travis Adams and Dustin Adams; 2 Brothers: Michael Adams and Allen Adams; Grandchildren: Nikkie, Shyann and Terra along with 4 Great-Grandchildren.
