Dwight Creech, age 66, of Jenkins, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife: Janice Hurst Creech; two daughters: Erica Creech of Newport and Whitney Creech of Bowling Green; two brothers: Darrell Creech of Virginia Beach and James Creech of Hindman; one sister: Matilda Kilburn of Martin and his father and mother-in-law, Danny and Rhobenia Hurst.
Visitation will begin after 5:00pm Saturday at the Hemphill Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Dwight Creech will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Hemphill Baptist Church with Danny Hurst officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Johnny O’Neal Shepherd, age 58, of Gordon, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Whitesburg ARH.
He is survived by his wife: Marsha Fields Shepherd; 3 brothers: Jeff Shepherd, James Shepherd and Danny Fields all of Linefork; 1 sister: Paula Brown of Tennessee; special daughter: Jessie Newman; special grandchildren: Elijah Newman, John Daniel Newman, and Jackson Newman; special aunt and uncle: Vivian and Jim Shepherd; 2 special nephews: Andrew and Cody; best friend: Glenn Cornett; special friend: Jackie “Crack” Holbrook and close friend: Junior Henderson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-10:00pm this evening, Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Linefork House of Prayer.
Funeral Services for Johnny O’Neal Shepherd will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Linefork House of Prayer with Patrick Shepherd, Glenn Cornett and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hurricane Gap Cemetery at Gordon.

Kathy Richardson Wright, age 77, of Kingsport TN formerly of Haymond, passed away on Friday May 8, 2026.
She is survived her husband: Ronald Wright; 2 children: Wendy Yoder and Stacy Wright; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Patti Figger and Nancy Jones along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm this evening, Friday, at the Neon First Church of God.
Funeral services for Kathy Richardson Wright will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Neon First Church of God with Dave Hammond officiating.

She is survived by her husband: David Kennedy of Cumberland; 2 daughters: Misty Kennedy of Tazewell, Tennessee and Tracy Gullett of Stanford, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren; 2 siblings, Phillip Raleigh of Springfield, Missouri and Sheliah Raleigh of Cumberland.

Charles Edward Ledbetter, 86, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg.
He is survived by his son: Paul Ledbetter Cole of Partridge; three sisters: Joyce Holloway of Little Rock, AR, Sue Webb of Milford, CT and Marjorie Poole of Collierville, TN.
Funeral service for Charles Edward Ledbetter will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday at the Rockvine Baptist Church at Partridge with Jason Caudill officiating.
Burial will follow at the Maggard Cemetery in Partridge.
