Billy Harold Whitaker
Billy Harold Whitaker, age 88, of Dry Fork, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
He is survived by his wife: Ethel Maewood Ison Whitaker; 3 children: Mark Whitaker of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Lisa Braswell of Little Cowan and Lana Stacy of Emmalena; 2 brothers: Charles Whitaker of Indiana and Bob Whitaker of Somerset; 3 sisters: Joyce Burton of Indiana, Linda Whitaker of Somerset and Betty Combs of Dry Fork; 5 grandchildren: Emily Whitaker of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Katie Braswell-Miller of Viper, Seth Whitaker of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Logan Stacy of Emmalena and Hayden Stacy of Emmalena.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for Billy Harold Whitaker will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Chester Johnson, Kerry Ratliff, Larry Puckett and Bob Whitaker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Steve Williams, age 92, of Whitesburg, passed away on Monday March 17, 2025 at the Whitesburg ARH.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Shelia Hamm of Nicholasville and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm-9:00pm this evening, Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesburg.
Funeral services for Steve Williams will be held at 1:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg with Bill Craft and Danny Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Whitesburg.

Timothy Allen Collins, age 70, of Pine Top, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Jeremiah.
He is survived by 2 sons: Casey Collins and Jorden “TJ’ Collins; 4 Grandchildren; One sister: Barbara Lynn Collins; Step Children – Keema Shae, Cathy and April; 6 Step Grandchildren and special friend: Delena Combs.
Funeral services for Timothy Allen Collins will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel in Hindman.
Burial will follow at Carr Fork Memorial Cemetery at Litt Carr.
