David Hendrix, age 64, of Cumberland passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Harlan ARH.
He is survived by his wife: Shelia Hendrix; 1 daughter: Susie Brock; 1 special grandson : Dustin Smith; one great grandson; One sister and brother-in-law: Patty and Mike Howard; two brothers: James Brock and Ronnie Brock along with a host of nieces and nephews plus very special friends: Rocky Lewis and Marie Elbert and Ronald and Susie North.
Funeral services for David Hendrix will be held at 12:00 Noon Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Howard officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm both Friday and Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery.

He is survived by 3 sons: Lewis Beckham “L.B.” Bates of Pound Virginia, John Charles Bates of Appalachia, Virginia and David Alan Bates of Lexington; 3 daughters: Kathy Henry of Kansas, Sheila “Sally” Bates of Lexington and Pamala Sue Bates Mays of Prestonsburg; 1 sister: Maxine Bates Quillen of Isom along with ahost of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lewis Beckham Bates will be held at 11:00am this morning, Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Eldridge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bates Cemetery at Colson.

She is survived by her husband: Everett Cornett, of Cumberland; 1 daughter: Monica Perez of Harrodsburg, KY; 2 sons: Daniel Cornett of Cumberland and Justin Cornett of Middlesboro, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Tri City Funeral Home at Benham.
Funeral service for Brenda Joyce Smith Cornett will follow at 2:00pm at the Tri City Funeral Home with TR Christopher officiating.
Burial will follow in the Craiger Family Cemetery.

Funeral services for Jeremy Todd Gunter will be held at 1:00PM this afternoon, Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Greg White, Ryan Johnson and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Virgie.
