She is survived by 2 daughters: Tena Galyen of Berea and Sylvia McFarland of Eolia; 5 stepchildren: James McFarland of Whitesburg, Darlene Sturgill of Mt. Sterling, Nora Sturgill of Eolia, Melissa Patterson of Eolia and Emmitt McFarland of Eolia; 2 brothers: Fred Collier of Eolia and Ray Collier of Michigan; 3 sisters: Tena Stidham of Arkansas, Penny Gilliam of Oklahoma and Ruthie Dickerson of Eolia; 8 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ruby Elaine Collier McFarland will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Rockvine Church.
Visitation will be after 9:00am Saturday at the Rockvine Church.
Burial will follow in the Ballard Collier Cemetery at Eolia.

Dr. Mary Katherine Bennett, age 82, of Linefork, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Delois Middlebrooks and Mabeline Sizemore; her daughters: Mary Louise, Miranda, Andrea, Carmel, Sharon, Theresa, Joanna, and Elizabeth; and her sons Big Chris, Little Chris, Joey, Howard, Calvin, Justin, BJ, Jonathon, and Aiden.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12 noon today, Friday, July 19 2024 at the Linefork Foursquare Gospel Church.
Funeral services for Dr. Mary Katherine Bennett will follow at 1:00pm this afternoon, Friday, at the Linefork Foursquare Gospel Church with Durant Kreider and John Coleman officiating.
Burial will take place in the Bennett Family Cemetery at Linefork.
