She is survived by 1 son: Jeffrey Whitaker of Dry Fork; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Gary Brown of Whitesburg, Randy Frazier of Whitesburg and Tony Brown of Connersville, Indiana; 3 sisters: Barbara Lawson of Dryden, Virginia, Rita Worden of Huntingburg, Indiana and Lois Lykins of Brookeville, Indiana.
Funeral services for Janice Sue Whitaker will be held at 12:00 noon Sunday, May 2, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Kingdom Come Cemetery.

Funeral services for Alice Lee Short-Knight will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Cram Creek Pentecostal Church with Johnny Ison and Jeremiah Short officiating.
Visitation will be after 4:00pm this afternoon, Friday, at the Cram Creek Pentecostal Church.
Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Mayking.
