Barbara S. Hughes, age 70, of Whitesburg, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2024 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Jenna Caudill of Cowan and Jolene Rethwisch of Lakeville, Minnesota; 2 sisters: Debbie Shackleford of Crafts Colley and Kathy Thissen of Vine Grove, KY and 5 grandchildren.
A memorial service for Barbara S. Hughes will be held this evening, Friday, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Cowan Community Center.

Funeral services for Angela Elizabeth Boggs will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Shell officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Dewey Cemetery at Pound Virginia.

Funeral services for Paul Maggard will be held at 11:00am this morning, Friday, August 30th, 2024, at the Maggard Church at Partridge with Randall Branham and Jim Fields officiating.
Burial will follow at the family’s cemetery on Collier’s Creek.
