The Letcher County Central Lady Cougar softball team will host, the Mountain Strong Softball Tournament tonight through Saturday at LCC.
The showcase of games is being held is to honor our Mountain friends and neighbors that suffered during the flood of 2022.
Teams playing will be LCC, Harlan County, Harlan Independent, Clay County, Shelby Valley and Belfry.
There will be 1 game tonight with Belfry taking on Harlan County at 6:00pm.
There will be 2 games on Friday night with Shelby Valley playing Harlan County at 6:00pm followed at 8:00pm with Letcher County Central facing Harlan Independent.
There will be 5 games Saturday starting at 10am.
LCC will face Clay County at 12:45 Saturday followed by LCC playing Belfry at 2:45pm.
We’ll bring you both LCC games Saturday in the Mountain Strong Tournament with Greg “Bull” Creech and Derek Barto.
Pregame will begin around 12:30pm on 103.9 The Bulldog.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball beat Twin Valley VA 21-10 in 5 innings last night.
The 6-7 Lady Cavaliers will next play Prestonsburg at home tomorrow, Friday, at 6:00pm.
