The Letcher Central High School Lady Cougar girls won the 14th region Freshman Championship and also the 14th region JV championship today, Sunday, at the Knott County Sportsplex in Hindman.
The Lady Cougar freshman team beat out Lee County and Knott County to win region.
The Lady Cougar JV team beat both Perry County Central and Knott County Central to win the region.
