The boys soccer 53rd District Tournament got underway last night with at Hazard with Perry County Central shutting out Knott County Central 8-0 in game one, Letcher County Central edged Hazard 3-2 for the win in game two.
Both LCC boys & girls soccer will be playing for 53rd District Championship at Daniel Field in Hazard tonight (Wednesday) and both have qualified to compete in the Regional Tournament beginning this Saturday at Perry Central.
At 6:00pm this evening the LCC girls will face Perry County Central in the district championship game followed by the LCC boys taking on Perry County Central around 8:00pm for the district championship!
