The Letcher County Burn Ban has been lifted. Judge Executive Terry Adams announced Monday that the local burn ban had been lifted. However, he reminds you that the Fall Forest Fire Season rules are still in effect until December 15, meaning you can only burn from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and you must be 150 feet away from wooded areas and stay with the fire until it is completely out.
