After the rain, the Letcher County Central Cougars pounded out 13 hits and beat the Shelby Valley Wildcats 9-2 at home Tuesday afternoon.
Dylan Eldridge had 3 hits and Dawson Kincer had 3 RBI for LCC.
Kaleb Slone picked up the win on the mound, giving up two hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out two and walking four.

The 10-6 Cougars will next take on 9-15 Prestonsburg Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm at Alice Lloyd College in the 14th vs 15th Region challenge.
