The Letcher Central football Cougars opened up the season at home Friday night in front of big crowd of Cougar Nation.
The Cougars jumped out early and took down the WYMT #9 ranked Shelby Valley Wildcats 47-12.
The LCC Cougars will be on the road this week as they travel to Northeast KY to take on the Raceland Rams.
Raceland lost their season opener to Ashland Blazer Friday night 28-7.
