The trial is continuing for a former Leslie County Sheriff’s Officer accused of murdering a man in 2018. Tyler North was declared missing in 2018 but WYMT reports in 2020 his skull was found in Leslie County with DNA evidence leading to Jeremy Lewis and his girlfriend Michelle North. Lewis is charged with murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Day four of the trial is taking place today in Clay County. Officials say there is a lot of evidence to present so a verdict may not be reached until Monday.
