In high school baseball the Letcher County Central Cougars lost on the road to Harlan County 9-2.
LCC out hit the Black Bears 6-3 but Cougar pitching gave up a combined 10 walks in the loss.
Harlan County improves to 15-14 on the season.
The 14-9 Cougars baseball team is right back at it tonight with a scheduled game at Harlan Independent starting at 5:30pm.
LCC will finish up the regular season on Friday with the home finale against Harlan Independent starting at 6:30pm at Cougar Field.
The 5-9 Jenkins Cavaliers will take on East Ridge at home tonight at 6:00pm. It will be senior night for the Cavaliers. John Addington, Dakota Hall, Matt Morris, Mason Webb and Caleb Morgan will be recognized.
Jenkins will then wrap up the regular season at Buckhorn on Thursday.
